Description
Extract from the journal of Commander Robaart, Chief Cybernetics Officer:
"I'm really not sure what happened. We were trapped in a gravity well, and despite all the failsafe mechanisms, the ship hit the surface of the planet. Hard.... When I came to, there was utter chaos on the bridge, and a deafening silence. The only person breathing was the hybrid. I carried her as far as I could from the wreckage, to a strange stone pillar in a field of boulders. As I lay her down and collapsed against the pillar, she appeared to divide. Her dreaming body - I'm not sure what else to call it - rose up, knelt over her momentarily, then disappeared. Her corporeal body was still breathing, but was completely unresponsive. Somehow I knew she had gone for help..."
The story continues in "White Desert II - White Heat" and "White Desert III - Hidden"
Rendered in Vue Infinite 2014.6, post-work in PostworkShopX64 and Photoshop CC 2014.
