Friends

Friendship between species, when it happens, is completely unconditional and unbound by the barriers humans often raise. Friendship between humans and any of the large, powerful and dangerous predators epitomizes what *can* be achieved if we put in the time and effort to understand how alien minds work.

I've always fantasized about having a deep friendship with one of the big cats...
